My friends are developing a couple of freewares/shareware programs and to make them more attractive we are thinking of integrating applications like google toolbar, google desktop etc.

Is it legal? Will google share its revenue (like adsense) if we distribute the above google tools and when the end user clicks on an advertisements?

Do other companies such as yahoo etc have similar arrangements?

I am using a standard blogspot.com template and need to put one of my 3 ads at the top of my page. Hopefully a horizontal banner. How can I do this?
