Google AdSense – How to place an ad at the top of my Blogger Page?
I am using a standard blogspot.com template and need to put one of my 3 ads at the top of my page. Hopefully a horizontal banner. How can I do this? I am getting 1000+ hits per day and also want to know how to optimize my clicks on the ads, and promote my blog. I am making between $5.00 and $20.00 per day right now. Any tips????
*NOTE TO OZZY*
I already have all of the resources from your page and many many more. JUST ANSWER MY QUESTION about the code to put the AdSense ad on the top of a blogger standard template! I have blogs much better than your “help” blog. I just want a simple cut-and-dry answer here. Get it? Got it? Good!
*NOTE*
To the next answer.
Take another bong pipe hit.
One day I get 1200 hits and make $8.00
The next day I get 1050 hits and make $18.00
What’s up with that?
I WANT TO KNOW HOW TO PUT AN AdSense Banner at the TOP OF MY Blogger Template Page!!!!!!!!

If you are using the “classic” template style then it is just a matter of you pasting the code in the right place. But be forewarned though that before you do any editing to your template you should back it first so that you have the original template layout in case you mess up the layout.
Secondly I think you are being quite demanding about wanting to know where to paste the code when you can find information like this all over the Internet.
Maybe if you ask a little nicer………………………….

Paste the adsense code within the template just above the starting of the division holding the header….
Hope this helps you locate the relevant tags..

If you are using a modern widget based template you may place the code within a widget and place the widget under the header..
If not go to the template html and place the code
